Mempercepat Akses Internet Smart Telecom

Setelah beberapa bulan munculnya HP 3G Modem & Internet Akses CDMA dari Smart Telecom mulai terasa menurunnya kecepatan akses internet terutama pada jam-jam sibuk. Memang inimerupakan hal yang wajar dikarenakan banyaknya pemakaian dan murahnya paket-paket yang ditawarkan.

Kalau kita bicara cara untuk mempercepat internet smart ini secara mutlak sepertinya hal tersebut tidaklah mungkin. Hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya pemakai dan jalur cdma yang digunakan tersebut kapasitasnya tetap. Tapi disini akan ada beberapa cara untuk sedikit mempercepat koneksi tersebut lewat setting di komputer (windows), browser, dan APN (Acces Point Name) yang tidak sibuk.
SETTING KOMPUTER / WINDOWS

Settingan ini merupakan settingan secara umum untuk semua koneksi internet, yaitu seeting Qos Packet Scheduler dan TCP/IP.

Jika menggunakan Qos Packet Sceduler silahkan di edit Group Policy (gpedit.msc). Masuk Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates – Network - Qos Packet Scheduler. Rubah Limit Outstanding Packets dari not configured menjadi enabled dan Bandwidth Limit (%) = 0. Hal ini akan menghemat bandwidth kita 20% yang dipakai oleh Microsoft.

Pada TCP/IP bisa kita set services pada regedit, yaitu pada HKLMsystemCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipparameters dan edit value register pada :

SETTING APN SMART

Dikarenakan sibuknya jalur yang digunakan pada #777 username dan password smart. Coba anda kombinasikan dialup *777# atau 222 atau *99# atau *31*11111# dengan username dan password cdma atau wap

Mempercepat Akses Internet dengan cFosSpeed

Pada transfer data TCP/IP di Windows, sejumlah data harus dikonfirmasikan dahulu
sebelum data itu dikirim. Konfirmasi ini biasanya waktu (delay), yang terkadang
membikin arus aliran data tersebut tidak lancar / lambat ( transfer-rate
slowdowns ). Hal ini terutama terjadi pada DSL dan kabel, dimana terjadi
penyempitan bandwidth sehingga konfirmasi data tidak cukup bandwidth.
Solusi dari ini kita bisa mencoba memperbesar TCP window size, dengan demikian
membiarkan lebih banyak data yang dikirim tanpa konfirmasi yang segera. Masalahnya
disini, hal ini juga mengarah pada high ping times (latency) dan masa
tunggu (delays) utama pada render halaman web (Webpage rendering).
Latency lebih dari 2 detik, bukanlah luar biasa untuk TCP windows
yang sebesar 64k. Dengan kata lain dari ini semua, ukuran-ukuran jendela (windows)
sangat besar peranannya dalam mencapai kecepatan download penuh.

yaitu settingan untu dialup connection dan router connection
* Option – Setting – Preferences yaitu untuk Layer-7 Protocol
Detection, Favour Ping Time, Activate Firewall, Automatic MSS (MTU) optimisation,
Strict RTP checks.
* Option – Setting – Protocol yaitu untuk setting priority
dari DNS, SSL, FTP, Clien Protocol, Server Protocol, Media Streaming, File
Sharing.
* Option – Setting – Program yaitu untuk setting priority
dari program yang akan kita gunakan seperti VOIP, Media Streaming, Game, File
Sharing dll. Pada priority program ini kita bisa membuat definisi
baru yang kita inginkan.
